North Tipperary County Council Fire Authority maintains 7 fire brigades within the county. The breakdown of the personnel in each brigade is as follows:

On average the Fire Service attends 700-750 incidents/year.

The Chief Fire Officer also has a fulltime staff of two Senior Assistant Chief Fire Officers, one Assistant Chief Fire Officer and one Assistant Fire Officer, Brigade Mechanic and Administrative staff based at the Headquarter Station in Nenagh.
